Hinckley Choral Union invite you to come and sing two contrasting works: Karl Jenkins's Requiem, and choral arrangements from Andrew Lloyd-Webber's hit musical 'Cats', on Saturday 8th February. A 30 strong group of Choir members enjoyed a brilliant day under the baton of the ever-inspiring John Rutter. Pieces sung ranged from his "Ukrainian Prayer" to many Christmas favourites and were introduced with numerous personal and fascinating anecdotes from his long and illustrious career.
About 20 members of the Choir will sing five carols in St Mary's Church as part of the Switch on activities.
