Lutterworth & District Choral Society
New term start date to be advised
Lutterworth & District Choral Society is the music lover’s platform for both singing in and listening to the district’s choral music. With a deliberately varied programme of both sacred and secular concerts throughout the year, both singers and audience are musically led from the familiar to the unfamiliar, from big choral works to toe-tapping modernity – all done with an enthusiasm to match the lively, friendly atmosphere for which the choir is famous. We are seeking to appoint a new Director of Music to commence in January 2021. Details: DIRECTOR OF MUSIC2
Due to the corona virus all choral activity is on hold until notification that we can reconvene safely
We very much hope to be able to perform Handel’s ‘Messiah’ on 13th November 2020 – watch this space!
“Our aim is to bring vibrant choral music
to the people of South-West Leicestershire”
Lorna Osborne, Chair
We very much regret that our annual picnic concert, scheduled for 13th June, has been CANCELLED due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
See below for our upcoming concerts. Much time and effort goes into preparation for our concerts, where we regularly perform with professional soloists, groups and instrumentalists. We also sing to support local charities, and being a registered charity ourselves, we work for the benefit of the local community. Carol concerts are free of charge, donations welcome. Concerts normally start at 7.30pm, tickets for under-18s free of charge!
We support local causes
We love supporting local charities and good causes. If you do too, get involved by joining up!
We annually host a charitable event offering a great chance to meet like-minded people and make a difference.
