Grand finale at Claybrooke rounds off another memorable year for Lutterworth Choral
Welcome to the website of Lutterworth & District Choral Society (informally Lutterworth Choral). The Choir closed the season with an uplifting and varied programme of music in our Summer Concert at the idyllic St. Peter’s Church, Claybrooke Parva. Ably led by MD Philip Millward, we were again, supported by Sam Giles’s fantastic string quartet; featuring Sam Goldsworthy, Cathie Ng and Natasha Pattinson. Video clips will soon be available for members on our Members Area.
In memoriam: Regretfully, over the past 12 months, we have suffered the loss of four much-loved Choir members (past and present). We acknowledge the passing of Mick Curtis, Christine Sidey, Geraldine Tew and Mary Woodward. We are thankful for their contributions to the Society and we pay tribute to lives well-lived.
We are always looking to recruit new singers. Please get in touch if you wish to join us in our rehearsals for some free taster sessions when we re-start in the autumn.
PLEASE NOTE, OUR NEW SEASON WILL RESUME WITH OUR AGM ON SEPTEMBER 7TH (DETAILS BELOW) FOLLOWED BY OUR FIRST REHEARSAL ON SEPTEMBER 14TH AT LUTTERWORTH METHODIST CHURCH.

Upcoming Concerts

Much time and effort goes into preparation for our concerts, where we regularly perform with professional soloists, groups and instrumentalists. We also sing to support local charities, and being a registered charity ourselves, we work for the benefit of the local community.
