Welcome to the website of Lutterworth & District Choral Society (informally Lutterworth Choral). On March 28th at St. Mary’s Church, Lutterworth, Philip Millward made a highly successful debut as Music Director of Lutterworth Choral, leading the Choir in an all British Spring Concert that included Parry’s uplifting Blest Pair of Sirens and Rutter’s beguiling Requiem! The Choir, which included several new members, was, expertly, supported by guest musicians Andrew King, Siyana Kotecha, Silje Haarr and Heather Calow. The 126-strong audience gave generously as £730 was raised for Pancreatic Cancer UK, a collection which was a tribute to much-loved former member Sue Crewe MBE. In memoriam: Regretfully, over the past 12 months, we have suffered the loss of four much-loved Choir members (past and present). We acknowledge the passing of Mick Curtis, Christine Sidey, Geraldine Tew and Mary Woodward. We are thankful for their contributions to the Society and we pay tribute to lives well-lived.
